Summer Camps 2017

Springland Riding Stable offers 4 summer camps. Camps focus on improving skills and learning about horses in a fun and safe environment with the added bonus of making new friends.

All camps will be offered thru WagJag in 2017 after May 1st 2017 (WagJag is open to new clients alway, returning clients or current clients should register directly with Springland Riding Stable.)

Private registration will be offered starting on April 1st up to May 1st at a special rate - please email for details.

Camp days will begin with barn chores including mucking out and feeding. The children will be organized into small groups of 3 to 5 of similar riding ability, for a riding lesson. Following the lessons everyone will have a chance to sit back and relax and have a break including chow time! After lunch a horsey theory topic will be taught improving your child's knowledge and appreciation of horses (every effort will be made to have different topics offered each week). During the day a horse related craft session will be taught as well as organized games to fill in free time. Finally our day will end by playing some games on horse back as a group. On our finally day we invite family and friends to come out from 1:00pm to 3:30pm as we put on a small show featuring our new riding skills for all to enjoy!

Riders of all ages are invited to attend, no experience is necessary just a love of horses and a willingness to learn is required! Camps are integrated so all individuals are welcome to attend

Camps run from 9:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday and are limited to 12-20 campers, ages 5 and up are invited. Additional babysitting can be arranged at a rate of $10/hr

Camp costs $450.00 plus HST .

We can't wait to share our love and knowledge of horses with you!
